it’s on

That feeling I thought I was supposed to have when getting my first vaccine shot the other day happened this morning. A tour I purchased tickets for in 2020 and have been sitting on hoping we’ll eventually get to use them was announced as a GO for 2021 this morning.

Guys… concerts will happen in 2021.

I screamed.

And then I cried.

And then I tried to find people to cry with.

But they were busy.

So I laughed alone, shared the news with the venues I had calls with this morning and suddenly I wasn’t laughing alone. They laughed in excitement with me because things are turning around and picking up for this industry and we can all feel it.

So come Labor Day, my concert crew (aka my husband and sister) and I will be out at The Gorge Amphitheater with thousands upon thousands of strangers who all treat each other like their best friends and family because that how this fan group rolls. And as a warning, I didn’t used to hug strangers but hugging strangers is exactly what a weekend like this one will require, so get ready!
